Physician Bio

Christina Schwindt, M.D. is board certified in both pediatrics and allergy, asthma and immunology. Her expertise is in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma, exercise-induced asthma, environmental allergies, food allergies, drug allergies, eczema, and primary immunodeficiencies. Dr. Schwindt is the principal investigator on many research projects including from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), and South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). Her research is focused on understanding the environmental factors that may influence the increase in asthma seen worldwide. She has developed an asthma clinic in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the West Indies and volunteers her time performing medical missions to the island. Dr. Schwindt received her medical training at the St. Louis University School of Medicine and received her internship, residency and fellowship training at the St. Louis University Group of Hospitals.
